Lol I had steak and chips (with fried egg) last night, The Ragu is like a bolognaise only cooked longer , the Melon, ok you got me, just like playing with new stuff

This thread has made me realise a few things:

I really want to travel, Take a good camera and take lots of pics.

That i'd like to live abroad at some point, Preferably Sweden/Norway/ some scandinavian place.

And that close up pictures of bugs really freak me out.

'Nother one...

Spotted this little baby snail (shell) on a patch of moss on the wall. To give you an idea of it's actual size, the shell is a bit smaller than the "windows" symbol on your computer keyboard.

Just putting the rubbish into the wheelie bin tonight and spotted a brief movement on the base of the old parasol stand. Closer look revealed a bug!

Nipped back in for the camera and managed to get 3 or 4 shots fired off before it launched itself away onto the nearby soil bed. This was the only one I managed to have any kind of focus on, so this got the edit.

Cropped and rotated, this is a globular springtail - probably having a little drink of rainwater off the surface of the plastic.

3 extension tubes used and the ring flash.
