Alan ball used to catch the ball on his instep rather than trap it under his foot.

.....Bally also did that little reverse round the back of the other leg pass (not sure how best to describe it) before it became commonplace in today's game.

Do you remember Bally killing the ball with his arse then standing there defying St John to come and get it?!
 
Everton related it has to be Coleman vs Arsenal or Fernandes vs Arsenal.

World Football it has to be Zidane - not even the odd clip just the whole career, followed by Ronaldinho.

I remember him killing the ball and sitting on it in almost one move but not sure if against RS. He was so immensely skilful in those instinctive moves that you just never saw anyone else even try. swagger and cockiness, always looking to do something special.
