Hey buddy, Blackwood Evertonian here (though in Pontypridd now). Pretty similar background, became a Blue in 86 in a classroom full of reds who'd never heard of Ronnie Whelan or Steve Nicol. Bet we had similar experiences in school of being surrounded by idiot reds!

Ahh mate we have literally had the same childhood by the sounds.

Everton won the league in 87 half the school was Everton… until 88 when they won it back and I was left on my own!

I know it was always going to be down hill after beating the lovable reds on my first trip to goodison.
