Blues weighing up Lookman loan

Beyond stupid.

We've seen a bonfire of creative players at this club for two seasons now. If it were happening at another club I'd chuckle and wish the worst for them.

We're sprinting backward toward the Dark Ages. We need a saviour appointment to turn this around and head back toward the Enlightenment.
Next season Dave, we've got to tough this one out as grim as it is.

Another of our players who gets a spring in his step once away from the darkness that is us at the present.
I feel sorry for him in that he's not being selected for first team duty for whatever reason. I can only see him moving back down to old London Town any time soon.

Lookman on loan for the rest of the season would be a good move...

Think he will benefit from a loan period to a premiership side & come back a better player....

Next season may be the time to introduce him more regularly to the first team...

So you want to send him back to the level that isn’t good enough to make you ready for the premier league, in order to make him ready for the premier league? Gotcha.
Do you read, or are you so stuck in your opinion and closed minded you cant take the 10 seconds to attempt to comprehend the point?

Playing 1500 minutes in the Championship at age 17 doesnt prepare you for the premier league and he didnt play that well that season because he was too young. Hes moved on 3 more seasons, he got a couple of full seasons in League 1 to develop, and he needs more time.

But not, while I want the player to develop into an Everton great, get full playing time in an attacking side, you want him to rot on the bench of Hoofball Inc. because you just have to be right, and so what if it hurts Everton for it.

What position does he play then if not out on the wing?
Inside forward. He's not great on the touchline or at crossing a ball. You rarely see him running wide. But he can cut inside, dribble, and score. He and Bolaisse give Sam different tactical possibilities. If we ever got a left back that could provide width in attack, he'd be awesome out there playing more inside. Maybe Sam sees him as redundant to Siggy. I don't and think he should play.

Agree - but he should go to a premiership team to build experience in this league - he's already played 40+ in the Championship for Charlton...
He did not, he only played 1500 minutes when he was 17, Charlton was relegated that season. So the last couple of years he has been playing in League 1, and now he has to make a big jump up to the Premier League, and on a team that doesnt value attacking football.

The danger of a premier league team is if he doesnt start for them for the rest of the season, it is not only detrimental to his development, but to his confidence. I think the Championship would do him a world of good with that, just like Dowell. Plus, he will be playing against multiple teams that will be in the Premier League next season.

Or come back crocked, or raise attention to teams interested in him - we just love giving the best players with potential away, keeping the hasbeens - send Bollassie out on loan to get fit the show boater now with no pace!
Too many oldies robbing a living equals no pace - no creativity- no shots - plenty of hoofball under this joker!
