Blues weighing up Lookman loan

It seems a big argument is to keep him because he is one of our better attacking players and should be getting games and more PT...

Problem is he hasn't gotten that all year, he sits on the bench and everything about Everton sucks right now. I would rather him STAY if he was PLAYING...but hes not. Plus getting away from the toxic atmosphere is for the best.

Absolutely the right thing to do for him. Yes, the team may suffer short term, but the long term rewards will be worth it. Besides, if he isnt going to play him anyway, whats the point of keeping him in the squad?

A loan to a championship team, much like Dowell, I think would do a world of good for both his skill and confidence.
He should be much further along the development road than Dowell though. Dowell was sent out to gain experience as he had none, but Lookman has played 70+ senior games.

It doesn't say a lot for the level of coaching at the club if a player we signed for £10m a year ago hasn't improved above Championship level when he was playing in that league at 17.

Loan him out to develop him so he's ready for regular Premier League football next season.

The Premier League football won't be with us by the way because he'll request a transfer when he gets back and we'll have to sell him.

I die inside every time I hear someone says he needs to improve his defensive work, good old English football and our obsession with grinding.

yeah, because NOT conceding goals isn't an important part of the game. Lets just score more than the others, because that worked really well for Newcastle years ago. eh? oh.
or just look at the RS this season.

I think this puts lookman into the same bracket as Messi and the young Ronaldo. FS would have sent them out on loan too, to learn to be more negatively minded, and get rid of that confidence.

Improvement....here’s a common thread: which players have actually looked better this year individually? Which ones look like they’ve grown? And why is everyone we’ve signed in the past year disappointing? Other than Pickford, but a keeper is more isolated.

Williams and Schneiderlin turned into dog excitement. Baines and Coleman has rough starts to the season before each were injured. Keane looks awful compared to his time at Burnley. Gueye and Davies look like they are trying to do too much. Where are the positives? Kenny, I guess.

An entire squad of individuals doesn’t get worse individually like that. It would be an historic coincidence. Moshiri needs to look squarely at the managers and their staffs. They are the ones failing everyone. I don’t care about a left back at the moment because the bigger problem is hat our own players aren’t growing!

Seems we are looking to follow the Chelsea model of bringing in talented young players and then loaning them all out...

Seems we forgot to do the part where you build a excellent team first so can afford that luxury, we instead went down the build an absolutely gash squad then loan or sell or the best young players in it.

It's a novel approach, most of the footy world think Chelseas model is a superb way to run a club, we think we have found a better way, wonder who is right...

At what point at the start of the season did Coleman have a rough start before being injured mate, we weren't playing him on crutches like yanno?
