Can we now put to bed this idea that crowd negativity (or indeed positivity, in the case of yesterday’s match) doesn’t have an impact on our players?

"When the crowd got behind them they looked like a great team.” Dan James told LUTV.

I have no idea if it is scientificly possibly to measure how much influence a crowd has on individual players performances, or the team as a whole, they are full time professional's after all. However, it is a simple fact is it not, that a happy work environment brings the best out in everyone and can therefore increase productivity. What I think is a trueism is that every artist feeds on his (or her) need to have their work appreciated and I think that outsinging the opposition is where this whole thing might just come into play. At the end of the day it boils down to this, (as a famous Holywood gladiator said) 'Are you not entertained?' if the answer is yes, then case in point, Richy chacing down a lost cause that led to that corner, and Seamus seemingly able to move like 'the flash' to connect to that ball that led to the first goal. ?
