My first guess was Samways, then it said it's a midfielder who debuted later than him, is English, and has fewer goals. I went for Stephen Hughes, and got it spot on.

Failed yesterday but nailed it today. Was confident in my 4th guess gazza, wasn't too much of a leap from there. Still they've picked some pretty obscure players to start off with.

Edit: copy to clipboard didn't work for me either but share to WhatsApp did, then I could copy it from WhatsApp before sending it

Day 2 I got in 3 turns.

Day 1 took me six attempts on my second go.

If the player isn't from one of the home nations it can be a struggle.

I spent ages scratching my head trying this yesterday. Took a few goes to figure out the clues, didn't get the answer and then WASNT TOLD the answer on my app either when I ran out of attempts. Very frustrating ... very Everton. Won't be trying again.

I think that, after your 6th attempt, you have to make one final 7th guess and it will tell you if you're right (or most likley that you are wrong) and then give you the correct answer.
