Ads are a pain in the arse.

Some websites take the proverbial...

I have Adblock. uBlock Origin is the name of it. It does a great job. Highly recommended.

I exclude websites I frequently visit - particularly fan sites from Adblock. You can change the settings to allow ads to run on individual websites - so you're making an exception for them. It takes a few seconds and job done - never have to mess with it again.

We're very lucky/fortunate so may don't adblock. If you could join the 89.9% of our visitors who allow ads on here, it would help us out loads.

Thanks!

I've had to add another ad, at the top right of the forum on the website to try and mitigate this;

^ I'm thinking it's not too invasive and it replaces the floating text to shop/upgrades.

Thanks!
If I'm browsing at work, which is probably about 80% of my time, my work controls adblockers etc otherwise I have no issue with ads, even clicked on a few....

You do a grand job, it's appreciated by most I'm sure.

Can you increase the forum supporter cost ? Been £20 for a while.

Inflation and all that.

Ta mate.

It's £20 every 6 months, so £3.33 per month.

Or there's a £3.50 per month one, or £2 per month one.

I figure if it cost any more, then people might start expecting a friendlier customer service experience... ?

Thinking of launching a sub that allows a 'work mode' that will allow subscribers to have a work friendly theme (so no obvious EFC theming/no ads etc) which could be one way for those who have to have adblock on to help.

I've got adblock off for this site

But recently there have been ads, NatGeo i think, that start autoplaying sound

They're pretty annoying frankly
