It's estimated that monstrosity and everything that will go with it will cost £3bn but I think it's having a lot more than just being a stadium, there will be other leisure and entertainment facilities on site but not within the stadium. The whole site will also be next door/linked to the HS2 terminal (if that's ever completed)

I think it looks really good, at least it's iconic unlike those soulless new stadia like the Emirates and the Etihad. There's some thought gone into the design and it celebrates the history of the area. Also 62,000 shows ambition unlike our owners who've built a stadium that's too small and shows that we'll forever be a midtable club.

Had a nose on a BCFC forum to see what their fans are saying about this monstrosity and bizarrely they all seem to love the design and are convinced anyone who doesn’t is clearly jealous.

I mean, fair play to them if they are happy with that. Wagner’s played a blinder finding ChatGPT someone to come up with a design that all these weirdos would enjoy.
