Bilyaletdinov - Massive Flop?

Didnt all of this goals technically win us games last season or something like that, and gain us 10 points? I know its not just about him, but that's pretty impressive. His delivery looked top drawer too. As of yet, he's no flop, no way

I desperately want him to perform for us, not sure why. Maybe its because I don't want us to lose money on him, but I think he certainly has something to offer, but doesn't seem to fit in the jigsaw. His technical ability is almost on a par with Arteta, and with both feet, can score from long range, which we don't have to many other players doing that...

Saying that, playing Fellaini and Cahill up front today, and still no room for him in midfield, doesnt look great at the moment. He also seemed to be unconfident on the ball in pre season, almost fumbling over the ball, which seemed weird, as he appeared to be quite the opposite player from the mass amount of video's I've seen of him pre Everton (yes I know everyone looks good on youtube, but still)

I think the games against the weaker teams at home, is where he will probably get a look in. If he can get fit, and apply himself to track back a bit, he really could be a handful for us.

Add to the fact he's not a regular starter, he gets dropped after sub-par performances that have hints of gold, and he's not getting a run out nowdays.

Gonna get to him.

Flop? Behave, he was our third highest scorer last season remember.

Chuck in his assists too, he's nowhere near to being a flop, blah blah blah.

However. 90 minutes against Newcastle and Brentford is a must, for me.

If he wasnt a flop in Moyes' eyes dont you think he'd be playing?

This! He is one of my favourite players and won't tolerate the word "flop" alongside him when there's no blame attached to him. Has he not adjusted? The question should be if he has been given time to adjust or not?

his time will come and he`ll be a regular starter- i like him coz he`s got so much talent as well as ****ting in goals of the season and just standing laughing instead of knobhead celebrations coz WE dont do them. i like cahills corner flag sparring- i dont see that as embarsering

Seems to be the case...

Seems to be forgotten about. There more talk about wanting Coleman and Big Vic on the right and no room for Bily.

Also been discussed that he could be better suited in Cahill's role..which will never happen.

Hasnt been given a run since the Wolves game.

Has he got nothing to offer the team and has Moyes spent £9mill on a bench warmer?

Or "will his time come"?

Oh behave soft lad.

But we recouped most of that back.

I don't know how much we'd get for Bily.

Seeing transfer movement on russian market I doubt we would had to accept a heavy loss, if loss at all.

Hopefully one day I will get a chance to watch Coleman starting as RB with Billy as RM, they have a skills to build a great duo. Offensively comparable to Pienaar and Baines, but defensively I would have my worries, but despite that - it's still better than any other combination we can offer at the moment on right side.

Does Moyes know how to use him without sacrificing Osman or Cahill for eg?
I don't think it's possible, Billy can't play as CM, Pienaar is doing well as LM, so he can only replace Cahill in less important games as AM, or fight with Osman (and Vic) as RM, fight he will never win, at least not without Coleman being a starter as right back.

Hell NO !!!

It's a SQUAD game . By Xmas Bily will have played his part - see Rodwell , Three-Men-An-A ," King " Louis , in first 3 games .

Bily will also do that hero thing , a la the Mancs , last time , at least once before the season ends .

Stand on ya' Uncle L.C.A.B.

4th game in and already the vultures circle....

I'm going with the EGO. Billy's got a big part to play yet this season.
