I know mate, I saw. It doesn't make it right though. Speculating whether someone has died on a forum just doesn't sit well.

Inevitable now though I guess. I made my own inquiries in the hope to post it wasn't true and was told to sit tight - before then seeing this from Will;

I know as a community, whatever the confirmed news - this forum will be respectful, and dignified;

I hope, if true that people remain respectful, don't show the fans in a bad light on social media etc. for the media to have another go at us,

Whatever your thoughts on him, at the end of the day it’s always better to be nice and if that means shutting up for a bit, it’s probably best.

He wasn’t endeared to many towards the end however someone’s dad and grandad has died so let it be for a bit.

Clearly, there's a time and a place.

Would encourage any fans to just report/leave it to moderators, rather than engage in the unlikely event some let themselves and the community down - temporary thread bans or suspensions will be issued.

If it’s true then regardless of personal opinion, it’s still a tragic day for everyone connected to the club and his family deserve a dignified and respectful response from every fan
