Timmy for me though i fully understand why people would say Dunc. Both immense Evertonians and the main men in the hearts of the fans over the last 20 years.

A Kanchelskis/Cahill thread would be interesting.
Granted, only one proper season, but what a season.
Landon who?

Boss player , kid , but little , no-bottle , mercenary [Poor language removed] , for me , mate .

Remember his first game against the Mancs ??? They gave him stick an' he was off within 15 mins with a bad shoulder . He DID hurt it like , but hed already tried to go off for something else beforehand . Jesus , some heads hadnt even gotten to their seats yet !!!

Mind you , Anfield an' also Man City , he was definately AWESOME .

Me Wembley Ticket Stubs - all of them . Cricket stuff from 20 years earlier . Stone Roses autographed tickets . All kinds of [Poor language removed] , but Big Man's letter an' all . Ive met him loads since like . The kids had loads of bits , but Im still gutted .

recieved back a signed photo, think it was the Danka one, that murderous yellow and blue number...

I think Dunc for me was a legend. As it stands now I am going for Dunc over Cahill but I am sure by the time Timmy ends his career at Everton I will have changed my mind.

Super Timmy Cahill for me, my all time favourite Evertonian.

Loved Duncan too, but as a Dutchie, I never got to know him as well as Timmy. I mean, nowadays, I'm able to see 95% of all Everton games live, where as in the Ferguson time (especially the early years), that wasn't really the case. Also think Cahill has been the more influential player for Everton.

Agree with that mate, he was absolute class though, and would love to have him on the wing today in his prime

I'm from Australia, Sydney-sider. I just want to let you guys know, when Tim was asked by an aussie journalist, if he would move to Liverpool, if the money is right (in this day and age of mercenary players, just the right question to ask), Tim said, "No, never."

Full quote: "This is not disrespect to the Liverpool fans or to the Club. This is respect for the Everton fans. If I have to move anywhere, it would not be to Liverpool."

How amazing is that!

This is, to me, a legend. One who can not be bought. Let him talk to Wayne Rooney, brother-to-brother. The bloke might learn a thing or two about loyalty.

Anders Limpar said in an interview that one of the reason for Big Dunc's many injuries was that he was so uninterested in his training and fitness. Judging by that and Tim Cahill's character which never has let the team down (compared to the Big Yin's many red cards), Cahill is the bigger legend to me.

However, I see them both as legends but in different generations. Cahill to me symbolizes the Moyes era.
