Bid for Ramsey accepted

To be honest I am a bit weary about buying a 17 year old for 5 million. I'd rather add a few million on and go for Fernandes or someone else who would be able to command a regular spot in the team.

If we have bucket loads of money then fine but I don't think we have. We should be getting our main targets in before potential squad players.

To be honest i would probably prefer Ramsey to Fernandes, both would be class, but if i had the choice id take Ramsey. He was one of my top picks for the summer.

Without a doubt.

The fact Ferguson and Wenger have put money were their mouth is proves this lad has something.

From what I have seen of him, I have a feeling hes going to be a very good player.

Not for me. Ramsay may well be very good but he's very very inexperienced. He hasn't been a regular for Cardiff which tells me whilst he probably is very talented he's nowhere near the finished product.

Fernandes is much more proven and has shown he can play at this level. I haven't seen alot of Ramsey. Only two games to be honest and his brief cameo in the final and he never really stood out. He'd didn't look a step above the rest of his teammates.

Fernandes for me.

Spot on mate, us Evertonians are a funny breed we give out when we dont spend five million on youngstars and give out when we do!:lol:
 
Its alright Neiler, when hes doing well over the next few years we can say 'We told you all!' :lol:

If he flops, we will deny everything.
 
I agree, Ferguson and Wenger can afford to develop him for a couple of years, we need someone now and I think Fernandes is closer to that goal.
 
For me, Fernandes is a non starter. We would have to agree a fee with Valencia for 50% of him, which wont be cheap after they just paid £12m for him. Then agree a fee with the other lot.

But its not about Fernandes is it. Its about Ramsay. For £5m, I definitely would. Although i'd be surprised if it happens.

We first bid for Ramsay this time last year, for such a prolonged interest, Moyes is clearly a fan.

I trust his judgement, if you dont, maybe trust Fergusons or Wengers?
