I'm actually enjoying not being worried about relegation, not obsessively watching the results of teams near the bottom of the table and not wondering whether Everton will even exist in 12 months (as well as not awaiting the judgement of the Premier League and cursing Neale Mapuay).

This peace will not last for long as there's no point in wanting your football team to be mediocre, but for the time being the peace is welcome..

"Fluid" in Evertonian terms usually refers to that substance soiling your pants ten minutes into a match. A middling team perennially in the top tier of English football could be considered a rather good team, overall, but no, we're complete garbage.

Think loads in the same boat mate. I am. Weird one too really given points earned wise, we've been 20+ clear and closer to europe the previous 2 seasons.

But you still sit thinking phew, glad that's not us at the likes of West Ham.

There's such a circus going on at clubs like Forest, Spurs, West Ham etc, it's so nice that isn't us after being the clown show the last 5 years. It's pleasant to read about other clubs for once.

i think if the results had been swapped there would be way less ire

we have a brand new mega stadium where we have had about 4 opportunities now to jump into a european place and we have wet the bed each time, against opposition lower than us in the league
No chance. The knife to a gunfight shouts would be everywhere

A mid table season is what a lot of fans expected this year and is welcome respite from the last few seasons. The summer will be interesting- have wew got the ambition to push on, fix the obvious squad deficiencies and position ourselves for the next push. If not, the natives will get restless pretty sharpish

I think we are the most frustrating club to follow, there is something there for us as a club, you can see it like a mirage in the distance,a far, better footballing environment for us to exist and even prosper in,yet we continually shoot ourselves in the foot.
Most frustrating? You've been following football for a long time so how frustrated do you think long time supporters of Bolton and Sheffield Wednesday are. Amongst many others. At least we're still struggling in the PL.

We lost last night? That's it I'm done Moyes out, there's a fair chance we wont get another point for the rest of the season and end up relegated, but there's an equal chance that we can win a few on the bounce and end up in Europe next season, Well in Moyes lad, there's also a chance that we continue as we are and win a few lose a few and end up somewhere between 8th and 12th I don't know what to think, I just want Moyes to be in and out at the same time, Maybe we should hire another manager to take charge of home games and leave Moyes in charge of away days.
Am I being Fluid enough @Groucho
Sums me up a treat so no need for me to post in this thread... Oops.

Same also, I’m enjoying a comfortable season but I can see why those with season tickets are more annoyed and knee jerky.

Could be a lot worse, my boss is a Forest fan and has gone from them looking the business to nuno sacked - ange awful - Dyche other kind of awful - Vitor as the saviour 🤣
