I think we are the most frustrating club to follow, there is something there for us as a club, you can see it like a mirage in the distance,a far, better footballing environment for us to exist and even prosper in,yet we continually shoot ourselves in the foot.

In my opinion we are far too polarised as football fans in general, and this can apply to the same person in one week.

After an away win we’re on a march into Europe, then after a bad result we’re stagnating and never winning another game again.

There is an in between state, and we’re in it. I reckon it’d be good for the mental health to recognise and understand that there is a middle ground and it’s ok to occupy that middle ground while we recover from the last half-decade.

I suppose what I’m saying is I’m fed up with knee-jerkers but there we go, that’s just my opinion.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER 😅
"Football is a game of emotions"

If we're battling relegation there is excitement and relief (or despair).

If we're pushing for Europe there is hopefulness and excitement.

9-12th, without cups, is mundane.

People watch football to escape the mundane of daily life.

I think it's understandable during and right after the match to have a go at the team. Emotions are high.

If it continues 1-2 days later (or longer) and is constant, I think that's where mental health needs to be part of the conversation.

It's as if we play away one week and play well and win quite a bit. Play at home and are usually awful, slow, sluggish and hardly ever win. Think you mean the team itself is Bipolar mate.

Exactly
As the clear blue sky shone in and storms were fading to the horizon at HT last night, a fellow blue messaged me that we were up to 6th and that familiar cloud of doubt about turned and hightailed it back for our defeat

Looking at Moyes demeanour in the post match I would say he is right there with you, especially compared to his visage after the Fulham game 3 days before. Trouble is that even despite the lead, last nights performance was a poor one as we looked scrappy and dirty. Not sure why JOB endangered our next game by taking one for the team when were already 1-2 down.
