True but will only be good for the team, players fighting for their place in the starting line up giving 100% to stay in the team.

Better than the days of players knowing they have no competion and guaranteed a starting position.

I would not count on it, basically all the players we sign are millionaires already or the contracts we give them will make them a millionaire and we still get KB’ed!

It all counts if a player doesn't have necessary international appearances, for instance we can't get a work permit for onyekuru cos he's only worth about 10m and on low wage, Bernard has release clause for 45m and over 100k pw in wages so should be okay

So it'd be a midfield two of Gana (deepest), Sigurdsson, Bernard in the attacking mid role, Richarlison left, Walcott right, Tosun up front.

On paper at least, absolutely no complaints with that. It'd be a castle built on sand if we go into the new season with Keane/Jagielka in defence but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.
