And Barkley has played 45 minutes for Everton this season. That's quite near the first team.

To be fair to Moyes, he's never played Gueye in Vellios' position. There's a long list of awful players he has picked instead of Vellios but this season the only forwards we've played are Jelavic and Anichebe, who are both having good seasons.

He should play Gueye there though, we signed Gueye from Strasbourg, a team he played off teh striker for. Not sure he's a winger myself, although he has a good cross on him, I think he'd be quite useful upfront.

Yep and Duffy and Garbutt. I'm not saying he's a starter but compared to the 0 minutes Vellios and Conor have got, it shows where Moyes places him which is neither in his best 16 nor nowhere near the first team.

Yeah, better he plays there than in our reserves. Same with Duffy and Junior, too. We're too slow to loan out players, here.

Totally agree.

Don't see the point of having them getting no game time with us. Get them some real competition in the lower leagues.

He's nowhere near getting a start in the first team at present, so for me that puts him 'nowhere near the first team', we were short in CM looking to bring in a loanee, that went pear, we then got CM injuries & he still allowed him to go out on loan - as he obviously doesn't think he's ready.
