I mean we see inept and overawed refereeing performances all the time, Kavanagh and United is a good example of that and you see them often in the PL. The Clattenburg debacles were just different and something just felt very off. I’m not saying Liverpool threw him a bung because they don’t need to do that to beat us but something was fishy about the league seemingly siding with us over his displays and Moyes’ very direct comments.
