After Liverpools decisión today - we are going to come under serious pressure to do likewise.

What are other Toffees thoughts on this?

Personally I think this is populism gone mad. Restrictions on press freedom are never to be encouraged. Even for a rag like The Sun.

What I dont get is how this fits in to RS relationship with Sky as the same fascist owns the lot.

I believe we should ban them from goodison also. Ideally eradicate them from the city and any connection to us as a whole and let them rot when they cannot get near us when we are winning things and they only have second hand information.

I don't believe this is a press thing, it is a city of liverpool thing and if we all back the ban of the selling of them, ideally i don't want their reporters near the clubs neither.

Unless you are talking about the big ball in the sky so we can play all our games under the lights at Goodison, it already is pretty much banned in Liverpool be you red or blue.

Ban them from everywhere. Finch farm, goodison. Even reporting on us if it was possible.

Make it a rule that any player who speaks into them is fined a Weeks wages, which goes into local charities.

It's the only decent thing to do. Refusing to engage with that rag has nothing to do with freedom of speech, it peddles lies, distorts the truth and breeds hate.

I would have no problem with the decision to do that but I would want an explanation as to why it had taken the club 28 years to do it.

Think Liverpool should be explaining that point too in all honesty

Think I can make up my own mind on what I will read or not. My own thoughts are that it's a bit harsh to hold the people who work there now responsible for what happened 27yrs ago, it's like you taking responsibility for your predecessors mistakes. I've never read the sun anyway.
