Baines: We have no chemistry

First Jags comes out after the game, now Baines, not said anything in the media for weeks, I would not say he's lost the dressing room totally but it's going that way, there are some of the senior players in that squad questioning the methods of the Manager and his staff.

When this happens, it is a very rare thing that a Manager can pull it back, hence a parting of ways, the FA Cup is the thing that is saving him right now IMO.

Martinez aside, not that shocking that there's no chemistry.

You've got our top scorer and his entourage banging on about every top club every effing week.

You've got John Stones probably still getting dogs abuse and an agent in his ear.

Quite a lot to this I reckon. Including the manager obviously.

I think you're reading far too much into it.

Jags as the captain rightly faced the media after another loss.

Baines as one of the senior players did an interview.

Silence would be more deafening than a couple of senior players addressing the media/fans.

Seems like this is it for Martinez.

A loss in the semi or a loss in the final and he's out the door within three days. Once you've lost the players, doesn't matter who you are, you're gone.
Exactly. But players can get together and rally for the manager if they choose to. We will see next saturday.

"Results have an impact on that because chemistry and confidence go hand in hand."

Don't know about anybody else but looks to me like he's having a dig at Roberto's "performance over results" philosophy.

If Martinez does stay and I think he probably will, I think Baines will be first out the door this summer and he knows it.

I think he used to be our best player, but injuries have caught up with him and he has looked a shadow of himself recently.
