Lahm is a better fullback than midfielder, and I find the continued usage of him there quite confusing, for club and country. Both Bayern and Germany have loads of ace midfielders and few fullbacks, so to put arguably the world's best fullback in midfield is odd.

For us the opposite is true. We have amazing fullbacks and a big, gaping hole in midfield. I'd be all for this experiment, especially as it'd mean Oviedo baby could start.
