Baiano backing Everton against Fiorentina

Former Derby County striker Francesco Baiano is backing Everton to test Fiorentina in their UEFA Cup showdown.

Baiano, who enjoyed success with Fiorentina, said: "English football in recent years has grown a lot from a tactical point of view. Furthermore, the players are more relaxed, have less pressure (from the media).

"I continue to follow the Premiership and Everton's team is very strong and fighting for Champions League qualification.

"They have several important players, not only Yakubu, but also Tim Cahill and Lee Carsley, who I know from having played together at Derby. He is similar to (Fiorentina's Marco) Donadel."

Hope he's right.....
