Ordered a home shirt and two baby grows on 1st October online, logged in today (3rd October) and the status shows as "order picking", which is what it has shown for the last 3 days.

I called customer service and they said that because I have requested shirt printing it takes a minimum of 3 days before it will be dispatched.

I have had shirt printing done and ordered it online every time for the last 5 years, it has never taken this long before had anyone else had this?

If it still hasn't been dispatched on Saturday I might cancel the order and make a trip into the shop, it only takes them about 5 minutes to do the printing

I didn't have time to sort this over the weekend, checked online today, status still shows as "picking" a full week after ordering, so called up to cancel, the Manc lad said I couldn't cancel as the printing had been done.

I asked when it would be dispatched, he said "probably tomorrow".
I asked if it isn't dispatched tomorrow, how long will I have to wait, before I can cancel it and get my money back, which he couldn't give a straight answer on.

I've been ordering online for years, I don't think I will be doing anymore, it's easier to drive into town and go to Everton Two

apart from them not having stock in the stores, getting a crease in the number, not knowing about Europa badges & font, not having anything left in kids sizes after a day etc etc

There is going to be a lack of stock available for Christmas and onwards.

Robert Elstone's blog:

Christmas stock

Unfortunately, however, large orders placed for products manufactured on the other side of the world are difficult to adjust and accelerate quickly. It means that as we approach Christmas, despite Kitbag’s attempts to source additional products, some of which have been successful, there are likely to be shortages in certain popular product lines.

In particular, home kit availability will be limited from now onwards. From early July, we began to realise that this year’s home shirt was set to become the most popular shirt for as long as people can remember. From early July, we knew that presented us with a problem. And, from early July, we’ve tried hard to solve the problem. Unfortunately, it’s a problem that’s proved impossible to fix.

They really are idiots, theyre blaming it on last years output for not ordering enough this year. Doesnt take a genius to see demand dropped last year because of the badge, for the first time in a decade i never bought a thing same went for alot of my mates, this year im itching to buy all sorts and you cant get nothing, its common sense that demand wouldve been more than ever this year because of a variety of reasons.

Shocking from Kitbag bells and for the love of god whys suntan still here

...yep, it astounds me when folk are keen to give you their hard earned but you get yourself in a situation where you can't take it. Dreadful planning but even then nobody with the effectiveness to turn the situation around and make it happen.
The part that shocks me most is:

Why did it take until July to realize that the kit may be a good seller after one of our best season's in years with a raft of breakout stars and the plans to actually bring in players?

It had to be obvious that this year was going to outsell everything since at least 2005.

All of that should be reason enough to renegotiate with Kitbag, or better still, bin them off. That's a shocking state of affairs for a "professionally run" club.

.....for those old enough to remember, this Xmas could be a Tracy Island situation for many Blues. Lots of demand but little or no supply.
