He scored a worldie of a free kick and then misplaced several 10 yard passes by either underhitting or just missing the target completely. He was also bad last night, is what I mean, despite the goal.

I will never argue against someone saying Ashley Young was bad.

A sad indictment of this squad that he’s been arguably our most consistent performer this season. Hopefully better times ahead with people who can recognise good footballers.

As a young player we were never in the running to sign him unfortunately, he was always out of our budget.

I remember the Villa goal well. A player I always disliked for some reason but a very good footballer throughout his long career.

I thought he showed good composure with the ball. Doesn’t always keep it, but looks like Pirlo compared with Doucoure! Well played Ashley!
