A decent intelligent man but not any longer capable of the standard required to play at this level. It is not his fault he is first choice and asked to play on a regular basis which exposes his limitations. Everton mismanagement is squarely to blame.

Wouldn't be surprised if Young is offered another years extension at the end of the season with the amount of players that will be out of contract and on loan. Means there will be alot of squad places to fill and is a versatile player

We were on under the kosh in the first half against Palace first halfand the team were about to melt, he cleared one of the line for a certain second, then absolutkey bought a non foul, to win a free to break Palaces momentum and thake the pressure of the defence.

It’s those small margins that are influential.

Last 3 games were good improvements, but he had maybe 6-7 good performances since coming here. Most of times he was a weak point in the squad.

But in his defense he was regular starter in a first eleven that was around the best in the league last year and a team that went from relegation battle to Europe at Villa 2 seasons ago.

Would disagree a bit with that mate, thought he was really influential from March - May last year.

He’s a bit of a poster boy for ridicule, unfairly a lot of the time and no way we should be starting with 39 year full back and no way he should be playing every game - but that’s more on the club then the player himself.
