Some disgusting comments on here. One reason I chose to support Everton was the strong culture fostered by club and supporters alike. This site makes me question that a lot these days.

For all of his shortcomings he’s an Everton player and as such he’s got my support until he’s transferred or we get in somebody who can do a better job this season.

FWIW I don’t disagree that he needs to go by any stretch, but I’m tired of the disrespectful comments. Keyboard warriors.

I suppose some might just consider it light hearted banter. Can’t say many of the posts make me laugh.

Still too heavy to be a top level footballer. You can’t have the physique of a heavyweight boxer at his age playing in the Premier League, he can’t carry it.

People are entitled to call him out for a lack of professionalism regarding both his discipline in getting sent off deliberately, and his belly.

It's a bare minimum to expect players earning 70k a week can eat well and watch their shape.

And there is the problem with people on the internet, and in general these days.
