Anyone advocating for a striker other than Tosun to start should reassess their thoughts after today, DCL can't finish his dinner, at least tosun has a bit of composure about him and we know that he can slot fairly frequently.

When was the last time Cenk did actually score a goal in a competitive game? DCL has at least scored a couple!

2 against rotherham and one against huddersfield? Cenk started that game against rotherham he scores as well. He's shot on confidence at the moment, when he scores one he'll start to get that monkey off his back I'm sure. I'd much rather have Tosun bearing down on a 1 on 1 than DCL - having rewatched his 1st minute chance he almost looked as if he went to ground before he reached Cech, falling to pieces almost literally as well as metaphorically!!

You're right about confidence, but DCL seems to have confidence at the moment while Cenk doesn't. So what, start Cenk every game (like he has been) and bring him off when he's done nothing in an hour, or put him on the bench and bring him on for the last 20 in the hope that he'll score and gain confidence? I don't know, I'm not a sports psychologist, but I'd say that Silva is looking at DCL as his more confident player, more likely to score.

Start him as much as possible and yeah hope he scores one off his bum or shin or anything, and then hopefully that reignites it. Shame we have soton in the cup and not a rotherham this round as that would have been an ideal scenario to use him in. Also not too sure how many assists DCL has but I feel Cenk has chipped in with a few so not as if he's not the most ineffective he could be!

Don't know why you guys are so negative. I can honestly say that before our goal, you guys were outplaying us and looked most likely. Tactics were good and it was finishing that let you lot down. The squad looked shocked after the first goal and it looked like they stopped believing.

Silva has his work cut out for him but you need to get him time. Your play has drastically improved from last season but its only the results which havent improved yet. Give it some time and start judging the play properly after the new year once the team has settled a little.

Glad I didn't get up at 1am for this but from the 20 minute highlights looks like we were quite unlucky. Had a few good chances but just can't put the ball in the net. Second goal was a mile offside. First goal just a brilliant finish. Sadly this is a fixture we rarely get anything out of so not the end of the world. Need a win next game though.

The worst losses are when you play well. Silva setup the squad to win the game. Its promising to see and given time we will come good

Had we put in that performance after beating Huddersfield and West Ham everyone would be a lot more optimistic but because of our poor run of results there is a lot of overreaction about how bad we are etc.
