It's a strange one this. We've at least matched them but we're two nil down.

Their two scorers cost over £100m. People can say we've spent loads, but the teams we're competing with have players twice the price all over the shop.

Yes but their top signings fit their system. They are part of a clear grand design above and beyond Wenger and Emery. It’s the Arsenal way. Even their cheaper signings like the young lad Guendouzi have come in and fit their way of playing like a glove.

I expected nothing from this game. I wanted a performance where went at them and tried to win. That's what we got, best performance of the season so far. If we could finish I reckon we'd have won this. It's a shame but nothing to wet the bed over. Arsenal are miles ahead of us.

New manager, some new players, same old Everton. Needed a proven goal scorer, never got one after Lukaku. Needed competition for right and left back only got one in. Need to score to win and it's not looking too good

In all honesty I will say the same as I do every week

We are missing 3 new players from this starting 11 and until then we are far from the actual best 11. Stick Bernard in over siggurdson, mina over Keane and gomes over Davies and the side looks completely different. Until then I expect the same results from the same players from last year

agree with this, positive signs in this game. A decent striker and it would have been 3 points away to arsenal.

I genuinely have to wonder what some people are watching sometimes. If there's one thing that can't be questioned about Tosun, it's his movement.

Said on here before Silva was hired that he would be gone by Christmas. I know I will be right !!!! Watched this lot for 62 years. Big investment in each area of the field needed or NOTHING will change.
