I was watching a food challenge YouTube channel, and the guy mentioned he was watching the football and it wasn't going well, he then showed the TV. Hopefully it's not a bad omen...

Good game for us this, they make a hundred passes around the middle for pretty much nothing, and will definitely give us chances on the counter. Don’t think they are that good a team despite being top.
We’ve got an exceptional away record and that’s despite 99% of our fans predicting us to lose every single game.
Well Keane is starting this game so I predict we lose.

Not that I want us to lose this one, but dad was an Arsenal fan, so would much prefer them to win the league than City etc. If we can win and that still happen then great, if not I don't mind the sacrafice. Head says they will win anyway.

Preparing for arsenal to scrum in the box on corners, and instead of getting slammed like we were against the mancs, it will be called revolutionary.

Also possible first pen of the season for fouls on corners to them.
I'll not hold my breath for Reffs to sort this push, shove, holding - but if they do we know who will get pinged...just like Niasse...Soft Touch FC who play in blue will be the first, that's who

but with a bit of vision we can help ourselves thusly...

Lets look at the opposition's numbers...

10 out field players

minus 1 freekick / corner taker = 9

minus 1 defender on the half way line = 8

They 'only' have 8 outfield players!

Yet in an already crowded push and shove goal area we have
10 plus a keeper, who can allegedly, also use his hands

and yet we still get done at set pieces...(which Arsenal are good at.)

One solution.
Take 2 out of our 10 outfield players out of the Penalty Box Melee.

= our 8 +our Keeper Vs their 8

The key point not to be overlooked in all this is Attack the 'kin ball !

Put 1 just outside the 'D' for the short clearance

Put 1 on the halfway line to come short for the longer clearance and to keep their last man honest...

and perhaps watch them then worry/panic about the 1 Vs 1 and pull another of their players back for cover.

But alas, No.

The perceived wisdom seems to be Defend, Pull everyone back, KITAP1, they shall not pass...then complain about crowded 6 yard boxes and how the Referees do nothing.

Solve the problem at source - empty the box a bit, play on the front foot, put the ball,
Literally AND Figuratively - In Their Court.

It'll never happen with Moyes of course, but it could - and should

I think putting 2 on the halfway line means they need 3 to cover. Also covers your options for a long punt, which is more likely from our defenders.

Agree with the 1 on the edge to. Someone like ndaiye who can turn an run at them, realistically the opposition would double up on him so there's nearly half gone already.

Its easy this managent lark isnt it!!
