Are you worried?

Are you concerned heading into the new season?

I am worried, that we seem to be so vulnerable on the break. Maybe our current centre backs aren't suitable for the system that our Manager wants to play? We obviously need more pace at the back. From the four players yesterday, I'm sure its only Coleman that will be playing every week.

Not worried in the slightest...

Worrying signs been there for 3-4 weeks like I said in previous posts, worrying thing is silva was out of work second half the season he must have had an idea he would be linked with us again, he’d have saw games and surely thought at the time they need so many changes ... comes in and should have had 1-2 targets and went for them first week the window. Not happy, 13 days till first game and one signing that’s it ... people laugh at Rooney going but we’ve got worse crabs here that we are struggling to offload. I think this will be like that window the year we signed McFadden and a few others last days of August.

No.

It was always going to take time. I'm thinking a 12th - 8th finish while we see the team gradually take on board Silvas tactics.

Hopefully by the end of the season we might be playing with more fluidity, but we have to write this season off I think. Throw in a decent cup run and it won't be all bad. This is a long term project. Remember Moyes's early days?

I’m worried that we may have a manager that’s not learnt from roberto Martinez and try’s to play possession football high up the pitch with players that have proved to 3/4 managers before that they can’t play it.

Seriously what do some lunatics expect other than a season of rebuild? Most are pulling the squad players to pieces and probably rightly so, but it will take another season to offload the dross and give a few youngsters their last chance to prove us critics wrong. Top 10 will be an achievement this year. I can live with that.

Still 2 weeks and I’m sure we will get some defenders in (we are linked with all the right people). Our squad depth is going to be absolutey horrible though, but we can’t fix it all in one summer I suppose.

I was worried the way we went about the whole process to appoint him. He was clearly done and dusted well before we appointed Brands. His record in the Premier League is poor, conceding 80 goals in 42 games is a big worry. He needs help from Brands to sign 3 defenders and a defensive midfielder who can pass. Keane, Williams, Schneiderlin need to go. Baines and Jags need to be back up. If we don’t get those four players in I’m very worried.
