I get your point but surely if neither are CF's then he plays them out of position every week too.....

Yes, would play George or Ndiaye there honestly. Both would hold the ball at least.

Can't see either of them holding it up against the big boys or winning any duels.

If the ball was played to feet they would hold it. And most certainly better than the two strikers.
