Are we too harsh on our players?

Do we give our players too hard a time?

That schneiderlin round of booing is infamous. Not often a manager will cite something so negative in after match interview.

The support is tired, sold a few false dawns and now a much nicer obstructionless stadium, but it's meant being able to take in some crummy performances in full. "If we can see the problem..." etc.

Depends on the player.

We are also known for going way over the top and overhyping dross; think of crap like Besic, and Evertonians thinking there was some kind of conspiracy at play when Ben Godfrey wasn’t picked for England when he was a Championship standard mess of a centre half.
