Well i don't know if we are cursed but we are definitely very unlucky. You are lucky to get a couple of days of happiness and optimism before something doomy comes along to ruin it.

On reflection we are truly cursed having to share our city with LFC. The past many years has been blighted by their dominance over us.

We spurned the devil mate - that's in the past - we are only 4 points behind them anyway - is it our training programme ? who knows but DCL could do nothing, but get injured at Leeds he is playing most games ?
admittingly in a 442 were we have for seasons gone with one striker ?

He did ask for a stupid pay rise & we offered him the same wages & a bonus of pay if you play allegedly. but DCL if fit is a top striker & DM stated we cant score goals .....

I think we will finish mid table & our new owners will be satisfied with that position IMO .....

Not sure picking up a couple of relatively minor injuries really counts as a curse to be honest. I doubt we get any more injuries than anyone else, it's just that we only ever have 3 or 4 good players at a time so when it's one of them it happens to it feels a lot worse than it does to better teams.

This is pretty much as it is.

ie Arsenal have had a horrendous run of injuries this season , Top players too.

But as a well run club they plan for times like this to mitigate losses by having a squad able to cope in all eventualities.

I know there is a huge difference in both clubs finances but still think we missed a trick not strengthening as soon as the January window opened.

( I still have my doubts about our training and fitness methods at Finch Farm on those pitches tho ) not so much a curse but consistent bad planning from the club for me.

The news about Grealish following on from the Dewsbury Hall injury has got me thinking,these two players have given our team a big boost this season and look at what happensnow I know you can say these are isolated incidents(well they’re not,look at the injury list!!) but we genuinely have had some terrible misfortune in my own time following Everton,Bracewell,I believed would have gone on to dominate our midfield for years,career changing injury,Joe Parkinson a fantastic player,lost to us,Big Nev broke his ankle playing for Wales,cost us the double and came back not quite to his previous impecability,I remember Kanchelskis signing then not being fit for three months too,Snodin,Heath both on brink of England call ups,severe injuries,many,many more,that’s just the tip of the iceberg and just the injury side of thingsdon’t get me started on other aspects such as PL deductions,World Wars breaking out,European bans,decisions given against us in huge gamesif someone can stick a poll up might be interesting to gauge people’s views?I’m ready to be labelled a moaning old cryarse

Cursed maybe a bit strong. Totally mismanaged by various awful owners for about the last 35 years is how I see it.

We should have been in the same league as Utd, Arsenal winning trophies and CL footyvetc being an established top flight club when the PL started. Made a meal of it and here we are.

We deserve everything we get.

The pit was obviously built in Satan's garden. Maybe we should have coughed up the rent and stayed there. A one club City would have been far less stressful.
