Having gone to the Paralympics last night I was stunned by how "pure" the athletes were. Despite all their struggles they had achieved their goal, their love of sport and competition was so inspirational.

They all performed to the best of their abilities, and you can't ask for anymore - it was so humbling and inspirational. It leaves the question though, if they can achieve so much with the barriers life has presented them, why can't more people (including me) achieve more with all our advantages?

exactly, probably though because people with all advantages are lazy. but i have recently in the last 12months done 3 half marathons, got great north run next sunday, play football twice a week, run 5 times a week. but i am 21 and need to force myself sometimes. but these people are inspiration, something tragic happens to them in their life and instead of feeling sorry for themself like a lot of us would do, they do something with there life and fair play to them

Inspirational story and it's always good to see good stories in the news, we might even be seeing Isabella in the paralympics in 12 years time. I've got to say though it's a shame her brother inherited his dad's looks.
