They are flavour of the month as they are "best of the rest" and playing in europe throwing money around on decent players.
We are lumped in with Leicester, West Ham and Watford as mid table.
You can guarantee Wolves will be 7th in the betting stakes for the PL title next season as they are seen as better and will receive more media coverage because of it.

Problem is we are just part of the Premier League furniture. Unless we are genuinely likely to gatecrash the top six (not likely in recent years) the ‘experts’ will always focus on the next best newsworthy team. Last year it was Burnley who provide a bit of light entertainment. This season it was Wolves / Watford. Even if they drop away next season the focus won’t be on us regardless. It will be on whoever is putting a run of games together.
I must say it is very pleasurable watching the Gary Nevilles and other exmanure pundits squirming now that they are so awful. Put them in the spotlight all the more i say, pushed into the spotlight coz of Fergies successes, those days are long gone. Now they are left discussing what is missing from the team based on his template for success. It's all a bit cringy to be honest. Just a shame all the rs pundits get to be so smug at the moment.
