He's trying his best but the fact so many rave about him like he's Phil Foden shows why we are in the position we are.

Wouldn't get in a top 8-10 starting 11 - lad just hasn't the end product to match his effort ultimately.

Our standards are low these days hence why players like DCL are labelled boss.

I think this rings true more than ever. He is currently the best of a bad much: he's not playing poorly, but I think the hype is yet to be justified.

I get that but there's not really much for him to provide for. Outside of Richarlison and Gray who else was going to score a goal for us today bar a set piece?
