Listen seriously Dunc Ferguson is at the club anyway training the kiddies so lets get him a pair of boots? we need a target man

I always liked AJ.

But Are we really at that stage where any old players who were half decent for us should now be brought back...

Why did we sell him again.

Didnt he refuse to travel to a game thus forcing his way out of the club?

He was never the same after Mourinho had a go at him for diving. Good player, poor mental toughness.

He's not quite up to it. I'd rather have a bit of a gamble on a younger player as we did with Beckford. That's what Moyes does well.

He'll never come back. He's doing well at Fulham and wouldn't want to risk that just to come back to Everton and get played out of position like he did the first time.

He was played upfront, every single game.

Agenda.

Tut, tut.

Anyway, I liked AJ he fitted the Club at the time, I would like to think we are "better" than that now. tho, sadly thats not true, but its still a no from me.

Actually, Andy Johnson is still A very good striker and has been in great form for Fulham this year,I never wanted him to leave but I suppose if he never left we wouldn't of been able to sign Fellaini. Getting AJ back now for 2million quid would be excellent business from the club for a quality player, the lad would offer us quality and pace up front on a consistent basis, we have Saha but he doesn't do it consistently.Whether or not he'd move back up to merseyside is another matter. But my opinion is that Aj was the best forward we have had at the club since big Dunc retired. Wouldn't be a backward step like McFadden.

This simply wont happen, he don't do pacey strikers (unless its a bonus), as we simply never ever play through balls, or 4-4-2. A target man only, I'm afraid. Pav would be great, but we wont get him either. Bendtner would've been decent, surprised we didn't take that deal, very Moyes type striker.
