Yeah I agree, player who looks like he’s about to have a panic attack whenever he gets the ball facing forwards should be played in the number 10 role, we could really utilise his creativity there.

A cautionary tale not to eulogise a player based on what was ever only a half-decent first season.

On his wages, he won't be going anywhere and not coming back.

The best we can hope for is a heavily-subsided loan elsewhere, so Ancelotti may choose to retain him for the odd 15 minutes in games.

That's the conundrum we face for several players.
