Koeman to be fair was trying to move that way but the quality was hopeless and I think he was.

Allaydyce made us much harder to beat and was moving in the right direction. If he had been given backing that summer we would have been way more competitive in the league/cup last season and be a million miles better off this.

But no, bring in a poor mans Klopp/Pep and try to imitate greatness. You end up in an embarassing mess.

nar he really didn't though, he was one of the best players for most of the game

and he didn't play against Arsenal because we signed him at the end of the window and he had no preseason, he only made his debut a week or 2 later I think

When he plays well, he's a huge miss. He's put in plenty of performances that leave a lot to be desired though. Enough for there to be question marks. It's a shame because we need him badly.
