Not a time for self pity really and I truly wish Gomes the best of luck in his recovery but I can’t recall a club having as many major injuries like this consistently over the last 5 years it’s ridiculously cruel.

Yeah I don't think Son did anything just curious how he broke it because replays obviously didn't show the breaking and I missed it.

This, Son committed a foul any player would at 1-0 to stop a break and just on this occasion we end up with a freak injury. Everton that.

Reminded me of Eduardo Da Silva injury. Truly terrible, I'm afraid he'll never be the same again.

Son’s isn’t a red card at all. That’s a freak accident that nobody is at fault for. It’s not a sending off despite it being a awful injury. Gutted for all involved.

Son tried to take him out from behind with studds showing, either to stop us breaking or to get revenge for the earlier incident.

He clearly didn't mean to break his leg but it's always a risk with those challenges, tears of guilt, I would like to see an extended ban.

Son deliberately fouls him after getting outmuscled by andre a minute earlier then skinned again, but its a nothing foul and one weve all done when our bloods risen a little. Can't imagine how he will be feeling after that, he'll be devastated.

...I’m not medic, but from the reaction I’d think compound double break, unless it’s a broken ankle. I’m sure it’ll be reported soon, but you have to think his season is over.
