I wouldn't say he played overly safe. He ran with the ball forward when space was in front of him, lobbed some good balls around and had a few shots.

Fair enough. I noticed him turning backwards a lot. Not always a bad thing though.

Thought he was alright, wouldn’t be saying he was amazing, did ok, some tidy passing, some sloppy play, showed some decent range, looked like he struggled with the pace, tired toward the end.
