2023/24 Amadou Onana

'not werth 2 bob him' Looks like Arsenal, Barca and utd disagree which you all should be very happy about, the favourite boo boy will be gone come the summer and we'll get good money.

£50m is 15m P&S plus whatever was written off this year. I would try to resist one more year. Same as Branthwaite, one more year if we can manage it
Well, its vastly more than that.

Lets say 35m over 5 years.

7m a year, plus wages, lets say 4m a year.

50m, 20% of 15m, so 47m.

So we get 47m, but then we also lose his wages and his liability from the accounts, so we have a net profit of around 91m.

And that is why PSR is a scam.

Hmm. Or …..

35m cost over 5 years. 7m a year so 7m written off and 28m to set against the fee of 50m so 22m profit

Any words on his performance?
Thought he had a slow start to the first half and was fairly average but then grew into it and had a solid game. Didn't really help that it looked like he was tasked playing a single pivot with two more advanced players ahead of him but he did get the assist for the first goal and did his usual job of breaking up play with interceptions and tackles.

I thought he did okay. Was up against Bellingham for much of the game and he's one of the best in the world at the moment.

He did seem to tire quite a bit later on, probably could have done with coming off given it was only a friendly.
