Imagine expecting a player to make 100% 'good' passes and win every tackle in a game, and using the fact he doesn't as a stick to beat him with.

Really? You didnt think Everton looked better with him in the second compared to the first. We didnt have a single effort in the first half as they walked through us. I mean im not claiming he's patrick viera but im surprised you dont think he improved the side. Thought he carried it pretty well and made some good challenges. I think onana should be back playing from the start. We're not exactly blessed but he can be a very useful player within a squad that has so little quality.

I certainly didn’t think it was down to one player that we created chances and definitely not Onana, that’s not bias, he made some challenges and missed some, caught napping and half asleep when a Brighton played nipped inside him in the penalty area and had a header which Pickford saved. He could be a lot more than useful if he applied himself better and more often than he does, he is still ambling. By the way no Everton player was in the game more than Gana Gueye when he was on the field, up and down the field, snapping into tackles and winning most of them and giving the ball to his team mates and running in position to receive it back, not passing then pointing to his team mate to give it to someone else, most probably Onana could do it better but he’s not in the game often enough.

Stats, Titus? I am not interested in stats they can prove or disprove anything, I let my eyes tell me what a player does or doesn’t do and Onana doesn’t do enough, there is plenty for him to do in that department——plenty!
