Wouldn't actually be a bad deal in fairness. Maybe bump it to £60m + Maguire. I'd be open to selling him for the right price to be honest, I don't think he's that irreplaceable. If we could sell him and bring in a CB, CM, Winger and CF for basically the money I'd take that deal all day long.

Don't forget there's a healthy sell on fee for Onana , wouldn't be a lot of wiggle room.

Chelsea just paid £115m for Caicedo. Chelsea and Liverpool are willing to pay £60m for Lavia

Why would we sell for less than £50m?

True, might be one of those cases where getting something like £40m + 2 swap players would be more beneficial to us rather than a bigger fee outright. I suppose the obvious "solution" would be £30m-£40m + Maguire and McTominay or Van De Beek
