Neville will not be dropped, nor does he deserve to be.

He's far too important to us, he's a better fullback than Hibbert and a better and more reliable midfielder than Fellaini and Cahill.

Indeed, a few people think hes picked just cos hes Captain, but to be honest he very rarely has a bad game. Maybe at times his passing was shocking, but he know his limits now and I rate Neville as important as the likes of Arteta and Cahill.

He is everything that is right about Moyes Everton.

Agreed on both counts.

I didn't always agree with that either, up until last season I wasn't a big Phil Neville fan.

He's proved me wrong, his form over the past season and a bit has been superb, he's one of our most important players now.

Agreed, I used to think he was the worst player that has ever worn the shirt, I recall my outrage at his 4? year contract. What a player for the last year tho, take a bow Pip.

Definately, he keeps it ticking over and rarely drops a pass.

If Heitinga/Rodwell can plug that gap next to Arteta effectively then I'd put Phil in right back. He could more than hold his own in our English Defence League.

Playing alongside Arteta seemed to help him, he's added composure to his game and as Brownie said last week, his ability on the ball is underrated. He's no playmaker but he does have quite an intelligent, short passing range.

More than anything he looks for the ball, an underrated quality in a footballer. My opinion on him has changed big time, he's a class act, on and off the pitch.

We still have a good team, we're not suddenly [Poor language removed]. It's just that we don't have the players to play in any particular formation. I bet you Moyes has no idea what his starting lineup will be a couple of weeks from now, hence why I reckon he might try things out this week and next.

Incidentally I'm not arsed if we finish as low as seventh this season. So long as we qualify for Europe and give ourselves a what, fourth, chance of building in the summer again.

Only problem with that team is that, for me, Rodwell has to play. But he can't hold on his own. Not yet. Needs someone along side him.

Fellaini can warm the bench until that day comes.

Still we didn't get another playmaker unless Billy is good at that as well?

6 weeks could be a long wait, but I feel we are lucky as we don't have to play tough team during this time.

I dont think Moyes will play Billy . I think he may give a start to Heitinga though I wouldnt hold my breath . I just hope to god Leon Osman isnt allowed anywhere near the pitch itself .
