When do they ever take the blame? The venom is always pretty much exclusively directed at the manager regardless of who that is. Big Sam only had the job because people started to turn on Rhino and prior to that on Koeman. All the while the players carry on as though they were simply the victims of circumstances and nothing else. Sure they sometimes get a bit of stick but nothing like the manager ever gets. The players are to blame aswel, but why should we pay Sam 5 times what Rhino gets when they effectively do the same job?
@davekOh god hes mentioned the M word.
Silva's sat at Home drinking tea and can come in on a free. Don't have anything to lose this season so give him a go. Think every evertonian is sick to the back teeth of watching this dross every week and he's going to go in the summer anyway so why not just do it now? Won't have to look at that little rat [Poor language removed] either in Sammy Lee.
Yes get Silva before someone else does.
I don't think we have anything to lose. They are as bad as they were under Koeman.
I also think the players are largely to blame but we can't sack them until the summer and a new manager might give us a bounce to get us over the line.
Roberto has a few months to go until he leads Belgium out at the world cup.
Not to mention money and lots of it.Worst defence in generations. Worst tactics in generations. Worst set of players in generations. It starts with the coaching staff, but goes much deeper than that.
Yes, BS out, but we need a complete reset. Shuffling managers is only a part of the solution. The entire team is like Frankenstein's monster, assembled by a mixed bag of grave robbers.
The next boss is going to need lots of time, faith and good old fashioned luck to sort this lot out.
Holy crap, I never thought of that. We have been abysmal lately..Geez, this is still only the 4th year of martinez's 5 year contract too.
I would much rather that we hang onto Sam until the end of the season, grind out 39 points for safety and leave his reputation in tatters, finally proving once and for all that he is a fraud.
