Allardyce Poll: Should Allardyce be sacked today?

Honestly, Moshiri has to look at it one of two ways:

1) Either the players aren't to blame and Fat Sam is absolutely useless and needs to go today

or

2) The players are to blame and Steve fn Walsh bought the worst collective group of players and HE needs to go today.


There really isn't any way around it. That mentality in the second half was the worst I can remember since....actually the last time it's happened to this club.

I've just looked at old poll threads asking if we should sack Moyes, Martinez, Koeman, Unsworth...and now Allardyce. The vote was always overwhelmingly in favour of sack.


So on that note I voted yes.

Can't believe I'm saying yes, it doesn't make any sense but things are actually that bad, I can't stress enough though that this isn't just on the shoulders of the managers but you can't sack 25 players.

Personally I can`t see him getting the boot until we are mathematically safe, but then again this is Everton.

I voted no, as I see no benifit in sacking him now rather than at seasons end. We hurt our reputation more by sacking him now rather than starting fresh in the summer. when he does go though, walsh and his backroom need to go to

We might lose all remaining 9 games under Duncan Ferguson. But I' rather do that than lose another 9 under Allardyce.

Part of me thinks it'd be unfair to pitch a new manager in at this stage. No point getting rid of Sam without Walsh - the pair need letting go, but then so do about 10 players. Say we brought Fonseca in, our latest saviour, what's he going to do in this toxic set up with a load of shithouses?

Only positive would be if a new manager was given a 'stay' until the end of the season, and was given time to weed out the undesirables, of which there are many.

I never thought it could get worse than Martinez last season conceding 3, 4 or 5 every game the difference being we attacked and scored as well. Such a soft centre we have these days and we have bought new players, just terrible all round.

Silva's sat at Home drinking tea and can come in on a free. Don't have anything to lose this season so give him a go. Think every evertonian is sick to the back teeth of watching this dross every week and he's going to go in the summer anyway so why not just do it now?
