He always seems to say the right things, to be fair. Martinez & Koeman drove us mad with their witterings post-match.

Sam's alright by me still until the end of the season. He knows our players aren't giving their all, it's an issue we've had since Martinez's second season.

He says the right things if you're one of those people who are happy listening to someone who blames everyone else but himself.

This. To set our team up the way he did, three at the back with two wing-backs when that system has clearly failed us on several occasions already this season. It's clear to all except the Everton hiererachy that we don't have the personnel to play that formation. Not only that, but in Kenny and Martina we had players ill-suited to wing-back (Baines and Coleman in their heyday would have been a different story). Throw in Mangala on his competitive debut for us who clearly looked lost, and playing Williams who has been pathetic all season at centre-back, and the less said about Schneiderlin, the better.

Allardyce picked that side, he must take responsibility for it. Utter shambles, and if ever there was grounds for instant dismissal for gross incompetence, today would have been it from our "manager" (I use that term loosely).

Lookman scoring on his competitive debut in Germany really just tops today off perfectly. Just imagine if Mo Besic had scored today for Middlesbrough as well lol.
