No he doesnt. Dont get fooled that running around is giving 100%. He's physically fit. 100% is going into challenges and wanting to win that ball for the team. He pulls out of every single challenge.
This, although I genuinely get why some fans are scared to lose him as he does clearly have sound technical ability, close control, a bit of vision etc etc, and all them things are admittedly in short order throughout the squad, the reality is, replacing him with just even a good all rounder like Harrison improves us instantly.
I've never seen a player with less aggression than him ever, to the point I hate him getting a yard of space on the edge of the box and going for a shot, he can't even generate enough power on a strike to trouble any half decent prem keeper.
At the end of the day we created chance after chance against Fulham in spite of Mcneil being out, our most in form attacking player, I'd argue Mcneil has been far more influential on games than Iwobi has throughout the back end of last season when it mattered most, and we coped without Dwight reasonably well on Saturday, with that in mind I can't understand this narrative that we'd be in the dirt without Iwobi. 1 year left, won't sign a new contract, thinks and states publicly he should be playing CL games, delusions of grandeur, genuinely think we need to force him out and get some sort of fee for him now while we can
