If James doesn't play at the weekend, he's got to step up and give us a big performance. Get himself right in the middle of the game.

Whilst everyone else is digging in he's just not interested in doing the hard graft.

He's not a right winger though for me so this season at least we've been able to use him and he's shown some glimpses

Strangely tonight he was a lot more effective on the right, drew defenders in and played Digne in on a number of occasions, but on the right Godfrey overlapped and elected to cross from a less deep position and hit the 1st defender twice. He’s a decent footballer but he’s yet to settle into a proper role. I think he would be useful though the middle.

Not a good game tonight, DCL's injury will likely push Richy into the middle so hopefully he can rise to the challenge to make one of those wide spits his.

He was absolutely terrible last night. Hopefully the coaching team look at it carefully. I don't hate the kid - he signed the deal we offered him - but it's almost like an Everton thing where we sign someone for £20m ish and it's not just that he's bad but that he doesn't even seem to try.
